Job DescriptionWe're Hiring: Healthcare Practice Manager

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Healthcare Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our primary care clinic. As a key leader, you’ll ensure streamlined workflows, outstanding patient care, and top-level staff performance. This role is critical in creating a positive, efficient, and welcoming environment for both patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities
Staff Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and retain top clinical and administrative talent.

  • Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency and timely patient care.

  • Oversee staff scheduling and attendance for optimal coverage.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.

Patient Experience

  • Address patient concerns with professionalism and urgency.

  • Advocate for patient needs and ensure a high standard of care.

Facility & Resource Management

  • Maintain inventory and ensure medical equipment is in working condition.

  • Ensure the clinic environment is clean, safe, and patient-friendly.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor clinic financial operations including intake, banking, and cost control.

  • Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Drive accountability for meeting financial and operational goals.

Growth & Business Development

  • Support growth initiatives through capacity planning and schedule optimization.

  • Build strong relationships with vendors and external partners.

Compliance & Safety

  • Uphold healthcare laws, regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and effective work environment.



RequirementsRequired Qualifications

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or related field (required).

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and safety standards.

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare, clinical operations, or medical practice management.

  • Proven track record in staff management—recruiting, training, performance evaluation, and retention.

  • Experience in clinic operations, patient flow, and scheduling oversight.

  • Financial management skills including budgeting, revenue tracking, and cost control.

  • Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and growth.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team development abilities.

  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in healthcare software (Athena strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with staff, patients, and vendors.
