Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Interventional Radiology to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive imaging procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including experience with advanced imaging modalities and interventional techniques, while demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and patient education on interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist physicians during complex interventional procedures such as catheterizations, biopsies, and vascular interventions by maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring equipment readiness.
- Monitor patients closely during and after procedures, managing vital signs, sedation levels, and potential complications with prompt intervention.
- Administer medications including contrast agents, sedation, and pain management therapies following strict protocols.
Requirements
- Min 2 years of RN Interventioanl Radiology experience required
- ACLS, BLS Certification, PALS
