Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with relevant experience in K-12 educational settings is needed to provide specialized speech and language support for students throughout the academic year. This contract position is located in Camden Wyoming, DE, and serves a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists.
- Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor student progress regularly.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working within K-12 school environments.
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
