We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in a high-volume distribution center. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant handling of pharmaceuticals, supporting medication dispensing, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and maintaining regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in manual entry and packing, making boxes, and computer usage.
- Receive and store incoming supplies, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Clean equipment and complete forms as directed.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory.
- Receive, store, and replenish pharmaceutical inventory.
- Pull short-dated, expired, or recalled products.
- Process product returns and maintain accurate records.
- Fill bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules.
- Apply and verify prescription labels.
- Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and verification.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of work experience in a relevant role.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Reliable transportation.
- Inventory management, picking, packing, shipping & receiving.
- RF scanner and packaging skills.
- Pharmacy order entry knowledge.
- PharmD and Pharmaceutical expertise.
- Pharmacy benefits management experience.
- Retail and high-volume fulfillment experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must hold a PharmD.
- Licensed as a registered pharmacist with an unrestricted license in the state of Tennessee.
- Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in other states is preferred but not required.
- Prior pharmacy experience, minimum of 1 year, is preferred.
- Experience in a retail or high-volume fulfillment setting.
Work Environment
The role operates within a pharmacy warehouse environment that ships over 10,000 prescriptions per day. The facility hosts over 100 employees and requires a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm, up to 30 hours per week, with availability on Saturdays from 10 am to 6:30 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
