Compensation:
$60,000 - $80,000+ based on expereince

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate all daily deliveries to job sites (internal and external)
- Create dispatch tickets for all deliveries
- Manage a team of 30+ drivers and their operations daily
- Quote rates for estimating external shipping requirements
- Negotiate and approve external shipping rates for brokers
- Update payroll information and update dispatch completion as necessary
- Coordinate repair and service of trucks with the Equipment Manager and Shop mechanics
- Find external revenue-generating work for the truck fleet (non-pat times or rain days)
- Assist in driver recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Fuel management – research and determine the best places to refuel
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, including GVW and HOS compliance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects
- Strong organizational skills
- Geographical knowledge of the service area or map-reading skills
- Knowledge of the industry is recommended but not required
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
- Ability to be available 'on-call outside of regular business hours/days
Education/Experience:
- Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of dispatch experience
- The truck driving experience is a plus
