Registered Dietitian – Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dietitian to join a dynamic team supporting older adults in maintaining independence and health within their communities. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive nutrition services program and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team (IDT).

As the Registered Dietitian, you will deliver direct care services, manage food and supplement provider relationships, design menus, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to holistic care planning for participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify participant needs, preferences, and goals. Participate in IDT meetings to contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct care nutrition interventions including implementing special diets, offering counseling, and monitoring nutritional progress.
  • Oversee menu planning and meal delivery operations to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and appropriate dietary accommodations.
  • Lead and manage nutrition staff including hiring, training, supervision, and mentoring.
  • Support intake and enrollment efforts by facilitating timely and effective participant onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in nutrition services within a similar setting
  • At least one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly populations
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid certification
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with seniors, their families, and interdisciplinary team members
