Join Pride Health as a Specimen Technician at Lewisville, TX! This is a 3 months contract role (with possible extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Specimen Technician
Location: Lewisville, TX 75067
Shift Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $17 - 23/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Perform specimen sorting, data entry, presort, pickup, and delivery to the laboratory.

Operate A-station, imaging/microfilming, centrifugation, and aliquoting.

Ensure accurate test ordering and compliance with laboratory regulations.

Meet departmental productivity and quality standards.

Handle and process specimens in a timely, accurate manner.

Communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with biohazard safety practices.

Adapt to daily operational changes and staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Demonstrate Quest core values and strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
-
Basic computer skills (Required)
-
Previous laboratory or specimen processing experience (Preferred)

Medical background, including medical terminology relevant to a clinical laboratory (Preferred)

Hospital laboratory or production environment experience (Preferred but not required)
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
