Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted School Psychologist position is available in Shelbyville, IN, supporting local schools onsite Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM. This role primarily involves conducting special education evaluations across three buildings, with an expected caseload of approximately 70 evaluations per year. The position requires collaboration with staff and families and participation in monthly team meetings under the supervision of the district supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and complete special education evaluations.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support students' educational and emotional needs.
- Ensure compliance with special education law and district policies.
- Participate in monthly team meetings and coordinate with the district supervisor.
- Provide support services across multiple school buildings.
Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice School Psychology in Indiana is required.
- Experience with psychoeducational testing and eligibility determination preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and families.
- Ability to manage multiple evaluations efficiently within the school schedule.
