Job DescriptionConstruction Laborer Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
Construction Laborers perform a variety of physical tasks to support construction projects and ensure job sites operate efficiently, safely, and productively.Key Responsibilities:
- Site Preparation:
Assist with preparing job sites by removing debris, digging (excluding trenching), backfilling, and compacting soil. - Material Handling:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas on-site. - Trade Support:
Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and other craft workers as needed. - Site Maintenance & Safety:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing general cleanup and adhering to safety standards. - Safety Compliance:
Properly wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, face masks, ear protection, and safety glasses. - Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, crouch, push, pull, and crawl for extended periods.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of working in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
