Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher skilled in instructing students across various grade levels, from Early Childhood through High School. This contract role is based in Sanger, CA, and requires expertise in customizing educational plans to meet diverse learning needs, with a strong emphasis on math instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Deliver tailored math curriculum suited to the appropriate grade levels, ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social development alongside academic growth.
- Utilize available resources and technology to enhance learning experiences for students.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education.
- Experience working with students spanning multiple grade levels, including Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School.
