A specialized opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise in Aurora, CO. This contract position offers 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM with additional night and weekend call responsibilities. The assignment is based in the main operating room of a well-equipped medical center with a focus on advanced surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room setting
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including total joint replacements, spine surgeries, kidney and liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Adhere to unit guidelines and facility policies, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support night and weekend call coverage as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license required
- Strong transplant nursing skill set mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years OR nursing experience preferred
- Certification in relevant perioperative nursing areas is a plus
This position operates within a technologically advanced surgical unit equipped with 16 operating rooms and supported by an experienced team. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech, contributing to streamlined patient care.
