Key Responsibilities

• On-call coverage with a beeper system, requiring a 30-minute response time.
• Call ratio of 1:5, with a callback rate of approximately 30%.
• Average call volume includes 3 phone consultations, 2 patient visits, and 1 admission every 24 hours.
• Work in a Level 3 pediatric facility.
• Perform laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication.
• Required skills include head/neck, chest wall, breast, and vascular surgery.
• Experience in GI endoscopy, minor orthopedics, and hand surgery is essential.
• Proficiency in ventilation management, chest tube placement, central line insertion, and PA catheter skills.
