Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Assistant for a general dentist to join our team! The dental practice has been privately owned for 30 years. As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. The ideal candidate must have 2 or more years experience as a Dental Assistant. Any additional certificates or training in Dental Assisting is a plus. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Sterilization and room prep
- Assist the dentist during procedures, four handed dentistry
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Taking impressions, digital x-rays, and intraoral scanning (Trios)
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
- Bi-lingual helpful
- Days needed: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (8:30am-5:30pm) and second Saturday of the month (8:30am-2:00pm).
