We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a diverse range of events that align with our organization's goals and mission. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venues, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
- Create event timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Oversee event logistics, including setup, execution, and teardown.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by event schedules.
