This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing CNC machining operations, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring safety, quality, and delivery targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead first-shift team of CNC machinists to meet daily/weekly production goals
- Assign and adjust work tasks as needed to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Perform and oversee in-process inspections and quality checks on critical jobs
- Enter and correct production data, including machine times and scrap tracking
- Support and coach employees on problem-solving, setups, and tooling issues
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the work area
- Review shift performance metrics (efficiency, downtime, scrap) and drive improvements
- Coordinate with other departments to manage workflow and job priority
What You Bring:
- Prior supervisory experience in a CNC machining environment ( Minimum 2 years)
- Strong technical knowledge of machine shop operations
- Ability to lead a team, adjust priorities, and maintain production flow
- Effective communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
