Job DescriptionJob Summary
Ranger Construction Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable cycle, performing high-volume data entry, and assisting with a variety of accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including high-volume invoice data entry
• Perform three-way invoice matching and invoice processing
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payment discrepancies
• Support month-end statement verification and closing activities
• Gather, verify, and enter credit card and debit card receipts into the accounting system
• Organize, file, and maintain accounting and financial documents
• Work closely with accounting and job costing departments
• Assist with special projects and additional accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in data entry and basic accounting functions
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Previous accounts payable or accounting assistant experience preferred
