Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert nursing care as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN-ER) on the night shift in a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires a skilled professional accustomed to fast-paced emergency settings, able to manage patient care efficiently between 6:30 PM and 7:00 AM, working 36 hours per week with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical situations.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide timely, effective interventions.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities, overseeing patient flow and team coordination on the shift.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols.
- Utilize emergency nursing knowledge and skills, including relevant certifications, to manage diverse patient needs.
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State nursing license or valid Multistate License.
- Completion of a 6-hour approved suicide prevention training.
- Verification of demographics from Nursys.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
- Prior charge nurse experience in Emergency Department settings.
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to emergency nursing care.
- Willingness to obtain pre-approved Return to Office (RTO) days and maintain full scheduling availability.
