Fast-paced dermatology practice seeking full-time Cosmetic Medical Assistant (MA).
Daily tasks will include:
Greeting and rooming patients, preparing them to be seen physician
Assisting the physician with patient care (medical & cosmetic)
Setting up procedure trays
Handing off appropriate instruments and/or material during a procedure
Instrument/syringe counts pre and post procedure
Monitoring patients throughout treatment
Maintain a sterile field throughout treatment
Collecting and processing specimen
Blood draws
Removing sutures
Providing patient education
Performing tasks within parameters of the practice via federal and state training safety regulations
Scribing information into EHR
Contacting patients and pharmacies
Cleaning and stocking examination rooms
Sterilizing instruments
Miscellaneous position related duties as assigned
The MA position provides the patient with their initial clinical experience. Exceptional customer service must be provided to patients, guestsand vendors at all times. Our ideal candidate is energetic, personable, detail-oriented, efficient under pressure, with the ability to learn quickly.
Ideal candidates:
Understanding of medical terminology
Understanding of cosmetic terminology
Knowledge and articulation in discussing products + cosmetic procedures
Professional demeanor and attitude
Natural inclination to take initiative
Medical assisting experience
Electronic Health Records (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
At least 1 year commitment
REQUIRED:
Excellent English verbal and written skills
