As a Massage Therapist at Bliss Spa and Wellness, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and tranquil atmosphere while delivering personalized massage treatments that cater to individual needs.

Qualifications:

1. Massage Therapy Certification: Possess a valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist, meeting all requirements mandated by local and state regulations.
2. Experience: Previous experience in a professional massage therapy setting is preferred, but talented and motivated entry-level candidates will also be considered.
3. Massage Techniques: Demonstrated proficiency in various massage techniques, with the ability to customize treatments based on individual client needs.
4. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and create a comfortable and trusting environment.
5. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform massage sessions for extended periods while maintaining quality and attentiveness to client needs.
6. Professionalism: Exhibit a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of the client's medical history, physical condition, and specific concerns to understand their massage requirements comprehensively.
• Personalized Treatments: Utilize a range of massage modalities, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, and others, to deliver tailored treatments that address clients' specific concerns and promote relaxation and healing.
• Professional Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a comfortable and informed experience. Discuss treatment plans, answer any questions or concerns, and provide post-massage self-care advice to enhance the benefits of the session.
• Hygiene and Safety: Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation practices, including proper use and storage of equipment and linens, to create a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports, to track client history and optimize future sessions.
• Continuing Education: Stay current with industry trends, new massage techniques, and best practices through continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and expand the services offered.
• Promote Services: Actively participate in marketing efforts to promote massage services and attract new clients to the wellness center.
