- Blueprint Reading: Review, interpret, and work directly from mechanical layouts, engineering drawings, and architectural blueprints.
- Layout & Measurement: Select the appropriate types of sheet metal (e.g., aluminum, steel, copper) and precisely measure and mark dimensions and reference lines.
- Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, bend, and shape metal sheets using fabricating machines such as power shears, press brakes, and forming rolls.
- Installation: Maneuver, anchor, and install finished sheet metal components, such as HVAC ductwork, rain gutters, siding, or structural paneling.
- Joining & Fastening: Fasten seams and joints by welding (MIG, TIG, or stick), bolting, riveting, or soldering.
- US Citizen/Background Check.
