Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on respiratory therapy advancements.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.

• Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve personal effectiveness.

• Provide support in achieving departmental and organizational targets.

• Assist in the development of treatment protocols and best practices.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Ohio.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Proven experience in administering respiratory therapy treatments.

• Ability to educate patients and families on respiratory health.

• Strong understanding of patient assessment and treatment plan adjustments.

• Experience collaborating with healthcare teams for optimal patient care.

• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.
