Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
Design infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, dams, buildings)
Prepare drawings, blueprints, and technical reports
Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
Manage construction projects and supervise workers
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Analyze survey reports, maps, and data
Estimate costs and prepare budgets
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government authorities
Inspect completed projects for quality and safety
Required Skills
Strong math and analytical skills
Knowledge of engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, etc.)
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Project management and organizational skills
Communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (minimum)
Professional Engineer (PE) license (in many countries, for senior roles)
Internship or work experience in construction/engineering firms
