Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. Start date: 07/27/2026. Duration: travel assignment for multiple weeks. Weekly pay: $1,953–$2,048 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts). Shift: Nights (3x12s). Setting: acute care hospital emergency department with 38 ER beds and all-comers coverage.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume ER, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and rapid response to changing conditions
- Perform 12-lead EKG interpretation, risk assessment, and initial stabilizing interventions; initiate or adjust IV access and vasopressor support as needed
- Support airway management, including airway devices and ventilator readiness; manage chest tube/central line care as applicable
- Administer medications and blood products per protocol; participate in procedural sedation and sepsis/stroke/STEMI management as appropriate
- Document care in the Epic charting system; communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members and patient families
- Maintain patient safety and ensure compliant handoffs during transfers and unit-to-unit movements within ER coverage
Requirements
- Active RN license; MO licensure or eligibility; pending license accepted per posting
- Minimum 2 years RN ER experience; experience in a busy, all-comers ER setting
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS required; CPI and TNCC preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EHR for documentation
- Ability to work nights and handle a 1:4 patient ratio during shifts; non-local candidates only (radius rule, 75 miles)
