Job DescriptionHR Employee Relations Specialist – Contract Role
Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT
Pay: $25–$27/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Length: Up to 8 weeks
Are you an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise? Join our team as an HR Employee Relations Specialist and make an impact by guiding leadership through disciplinary actions, terminations, and compliance processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and employee separations
- Assist with documentation gathering for disciplinary cases
- Conduct and support employee terminations professionally
- Investigate claims of harassment, discrimination, and policy infractions
- Mediate conflicts and ensure compliance with employment laws
Qualifications
- Experience in disciplinary action and employee separation
- Must have terminated employees and assisted with documentation
- Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
