West Hills Veterinary Centre, part of the Legacy Veterinary Group of the Carolinas, is hiring a part-time Veterinarian in Henderson, NC.
THE BASICS
Pay: We offer a competitive base salary of $120,000 – $200,000/year
Schedule: This is a part-time animal care position where you will enjoy a consistent 3-day work week with no weekends and no on-call shifts. Our schedule is designed so you can focus on patient care while truly experiencing work-life balance.

YOUR DAY AS A VETERINARIAN
In this part-time animal care position, you will practice high-quality, affordable medicine, focusing on internal medicine and dentistry while having the freedom to pursue your own medical interests. You'll use advanced tools like digital radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, and digital dental radiology. Throughout the day, you'll build meaningful relationships with clients who trust you and your team, and you'll feel the impact of Legacy Veterinary Group's five core values: Trust, Compassion, Integrity, Share the Oar, and Value. Your focus will remain on medicine and patient care, not quotas or micromanagement.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A VETERINARIAN
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited program
- Passion for internal medicine and dentistry (other medical interests supported)
- Commitment to compassionate, relationship-driven care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
