We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale industrial construction projects for a leading Oil & Gas client in Belle Chasse, LA.

In this high-impact role, you'll manage projects from RFP to closeout, ensuring they're completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will plan, coordinate, and lead all phases of construction from scope development and contractor selection to cost control and final turnover.

This position requires a results-driven professional with a strong background in construction management, safety compliance, and financial oversight. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage capital and industrial construction projects from start to finish.
  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to ensure all work meets project requirements and safety standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, report deviations in scope, cost, or schedule, and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify quality, progress, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a zero-harm, safety-first work environment.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and meeting summaries to keep all parties informed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience managing industrial or capital construction projects.
  • Strong ability to manage client expectations and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Proven experience in budget monitoring, cost control, and project scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience and 3 years of functional experience in facilities, plant operations, or engineering services.
