Position Type: Temporary for up to 3 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:40 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00/hour (based on experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a temporary position at our Chamblee location. The CMA will provide back-office clinical support and direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role primarily serves adult and geriatric patients but may also include pediatric populations.

Required Certifications
-
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc. Required

Background, drug screen, flu, and COVID or declination
-
BLS / CPR – Required
Education Requirements
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Medical Assistant Diploma required
-
CMA Certification required
-
Minimum of two years of computer literacy
-
EMR/EHR experience required
Experience Requirements
-
6 months to 1 year of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting required

1–3 years of experience in a private physicians office or community health center preferred

Experience with:

Phlebotomy
-
Basic laboratory procedures
-
Back-office clinical duties
-
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide direct patient care and clinical support

Perform phlebotomy and basic lab procedures
-
Take vital signs and assist with patient intake

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
-
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
-
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
