Job DescriptionCertified Bilingual Medical Assistant (CMA) – Chamblee, GA (Temp)

Position Type: Temporary for up to 3 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:40 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a temporary position at our Chamblee location. The CMA will provide back-office clinical support and direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role primarily serves adult and geriatric patients but may also include pediatric populations.

Patient Population

  • Adults (18–65 years)

  • Geriatric (65+ years)

  • May include:

    • Infants (0–1 year)

    • Children (1–12 years)

    • Adolescents (13–17 years)

Required Certifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc. Required

  • Background, drug screen, flu, and COVID or declination

  • BLS / CPR – Required

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Medical Assistant Diploma required

  • CMA Certification required

  • Minimum of two years of computer literacy

  • EMR/EHR experience required

Experience Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting required

  • 1–3 years of experience in a private physicians office or community health center preferred

  • Experience with:

    • Phlebotomy

    • Basic laboratory procedures

    • Back-office clinical duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and clinical support

  • Perform phlebotomy and basic lab procedures

  • Take vital signs and assist with patient intake

  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR

  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of:

    • OSHA guidelines

    • HIPAA regulations

    • CLIA standards

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a clinical environment

Language Skills

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
