Alternate Heating Systems is a family-owned, American manufacturer of high-quality wood, coal, and waste oil heating equipment, proudly built in Pennsylvania since 1998. Every product we ship is assembled right here in our shop using components we manufacture in-house.
As a Boiler & Stove Assembler, you won’t just be putting parts together—you’ll be part of the process that turns raw steel into a finished heating system. From sheet metal to a working boiler, your hands will directly shape a product that heats homes and businesses across the country.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble boilers and stoves according to production standards
- Install insulation, wire panels, and assemble components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment daily
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment (training provided if needed)
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy
- Prepare finished units for shipment
- Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized
- Work with the team to improve efficiency and product quality
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Mechanically inclined (you don’t need to know everything—we’ll teach you)
- Able to lift 40+ lbs regularly
- Reliable and shows up ready to work
- Works well with a team
- Able to read basic instructions and measurements
- Willing to learn and improve
