Position Overview
Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to lead a centerbased classroom serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This 1.0 FTE position supports a structured and collaborative program focused on individualized instruction and student growth.
Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction for 9 students with ASD in grades 45

Lead and support a team of 3 paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with district and state standards

Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

Collect data and maintain required documentation and progress reports

Support communication, behavior regulation, and functional skill development
Qualifications

Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (ASD licensure preferred)

Experience in centerbased ASD programming preferred

Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

Ability to lead support staff and implement behavior strategies effectively
