A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an educational setting located in Newberry Springs, CA, with an additional opening in Yermo, CA. Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school environments and pediatric healthcare settings
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services is a plus, although this role is in person only
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) or relevant experience
- Strong communication and assessment skills tailored to child development
- Commitment to individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for school-age children
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with various communication disorders
- Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and healthcare standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary interventions
Location: Newberry Springs, CA and Yermo, CA (position in Yermo is for in-person services)
