Albright College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach the following psychology courses during the Spring 2026 semester:
- Psychopathology
- Cognitive Psychology
- Biopsychology
- Health Psychology
- Special Topics in Psychology
These courses meet in person for three hours per week. Candidates must have appropriate academic training and demonstrated expertise in the specific area of the course for which they are applying.College-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Adjunct faculty are expected to hold at least one hour of office time per week, respond promptly to student inquiries, and maintain regular communication with the department. Instructors should be proficient in using the Canvas learning management system to post assignments, announcements, and grades, and to facilitate effective communication and engagement with students.
A Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred; however, applicants who are ABD or who hold a Master’s degree in Psychology with relevant teaching experience will also be considered.
