Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care for our neonatal intensive care unit. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care to assigned patients, monitoring their conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective nursing care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing plans of care tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate the outcomes of nursing interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess patient data and refine care strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive patient experience and implement service recovery strategies when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a NICU setting is required.
- Proficient in using computer programs relevant to nursing care and patient documentation.
- Current certifications in NRP and BLS (AHA).
- Active RN license in the state of Maryland.
- Must indicate vaccination status for COVID-19, as declinations are not accepted.

- Two supervisory references (one from within the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months).
