Sales and Business Development, Americas
Location: USA
Reports to: VP of Global Strategic Partnership
SUMMARY The company develops, manufacturers and markets specialty coated films and engineered material product made to be heat resistant, withstand harsh environments and add functionality to a variety of products.
The Sales & Business Development Manager will professionally represent the Company within the Americas region. He/she will identify and communicate business trends, market economics, and cultural changes within the region that provide opportunities and/or threats to the business. Selling the company’s products and driving business growth in accordance with the company’s strategic direction is a top priority for the position. Cultivating effective relationships with internal functions to collaborate on key business opportunities is a required skill set.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Represent the Company in the Americas region with integrity and the ethical business practices championed by the Company.
• Find the right contact and entry point for End User & OEM engagement via email, cold calls and networking.
• Develop and deliver the sales plan and budget for the Americas region.
• Generate sales of products to OEMs, Focused Converters Partners, and Distributors.
• Build long-term relationships with the sales channels and manage conflict and growth objectives.
• Identify and add new channels as required by the business.
• Develop relationships with OEMs and End Users (CM/EMS) to better assess product specifications and customer satisfaction, along with specification sales of our products.
• Follow up on leads the Company generates in the established sales territories and provide feedback on lead quality to marketing.
• Contribute to the development of the Company strategic sales and marketing plans.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Work with Marketing to develop required marketing campaigns and collateral materials to meet business objectives, including trade show participation.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Master’s/bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing/business or related field.
- • 5-15 years of business development and/or sales experience with excellent sales track records.
