Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support summer school programs serving K-12 students in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to help students make progress in a focused, short-term educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions targeting communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment during the summer session.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for working with students, teachers, and families.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively within a condensed summer program timeframe.
