Job title: Quality Control Associate
Department: Quality Control
Reports to: Quality Control Supervisor
Status: Full-time Hourly/Non-Exempt
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM; Occasional Saturdays 5:00AM-11:30AM
Pay Range: $20.00/hr-$25.00/hr
Job Summary – Quality Control Associate:
The Quality Control Associate is responsible for performing quality control inspections, quality control audits, and assessments as indicated and instructed by Quality Control Supervisor. This person will also be required to fill in and present all the adequate and pertinent reports and records to the QC Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Be an integral part of the development, creation, and execution of Seachrome’s QC procedures and processes.
· Perform QC inspections, QC audits, and product quality assessment in a timely and effective manner.
· As needed, fill in all the adequate and pertinent reports and records that are related to Seachrome’s QC processes.
· Work closely with Quality Control Supervisor and Engineering Department to understand and execute all the required QC inspections and assessments.
· Other duties as assigned by QC Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
· Must have good knowledge and understanding of different QC tooling and equipment.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work well with others in an office and manufacturing shop environment, possess good work ethics, and a positive attitude.
· Experience in manufacturing/assembly (plus).
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to work with their hands and arms and be extremely accurate.
· Must be able to walk, sit, stoop, or crouch on a regular basis.
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis.
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
· Ability to work near large, fast-moving equipment
