Job Description
Pride Health is seeking Medical Assistants to support our client during their fall Flu Clinics based in Tulsa, Vinita, & Muskogee, OK. These roles are ideal for candidates with seasonal vaccine clinic experience (Flu/COVID) who can work flexible schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and record vital signs, chief complaints, and medical history.
- Assist providers with exams, vaccinations, and patient care procedures.
- Administer oral and intramuscular medications (including flu vaccines) as directed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
- Prepare and organize patient charts, records, and consent forms.
- Support patient flow and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program OR 1+ year relevant experience in the last 5 years.
- Experience in seasonal vaccine clinics strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and locations.
Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or ABR-OE credential preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Locations: Tulsa, Vinita, & Muskogee, OK
Contract Length: 7 Weeks | Start Date: Sept 25, 2025 | Flu Clinic Runs: Oct 1 – Nov 15, 2025
Shifts: Flexible – 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $20 - $24/ Hour
