Supervisory Responsibilities:

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will support the HR department in a variety of administrative and clerical functions to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery. You will assist with daily HR tasks, help maintain employee records, support recruitment activities, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. This position requires a high level of accuracy, discretion, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
• Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, tracking applications, and scheduling interviews.
• Maintain and update employee records, both physical and electronic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing orientation materials, creating employee files, and collecting required documentation.
• Support benefit administration by responding to employee inquiries and helping with enrollment processes.
• Help coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training records.
• Monitor and update HR tracking logs and spreadsheets, such as leave records, evaluations, and certifications.
• Assist in generating routine HR reports for internal use and audits.
• Provide front-desk coverage for HR and serve as a point of contact for employees seeking HR support.
• Support the processing of employment verifications, termination documentation, and other personnel transactions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, policies, and internal procedures.
• Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service oriented mindset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn HRIS systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• At least one (1) year of administrative or clerical experience required;(1) year HR experience
• Must be Familiar with human resources procedures and best practices.
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is desirable.
