Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active KS or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting performed in Cerner OneChart
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- ACLS certification preferred (AHA-issued)
- PALS certification preferred (AHA-issued)
- TNCC certification preferred (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Valid Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Social Security Number and U.S. home address required
Additional Information
- Ceil blue scrubs required
- CPI or MOAB De-Escalation training (online portion) must be completed prior to start; the on-site portion will be completed during orientation
- Nursys license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
- Local candidates are eligible to apply, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
