This opportunity lets you practice as an ICU nurse in a brand new, state-of-the-art 12-bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit that specializes in care for critically ill neuro patients. Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Active RN License (NY state only)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU acute care experience
- Prior experience with telemetry monitoring essential
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of critical care practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, specialized nursing care to critically ill neuro patients
- Collaborate with injury and medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor neuro patients closely, utilizing telemetry and advanced ICU technology
