A highly successful and growing hedge fund based in South Florida is seeking a dynamic Head of Investor Relations to lead the firm’s capital raising and investor engagement efforts. This is a newly created, high-impact position offering direct exposure to firm leadership and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the platform.

The firm focuses on small and mid-cap equities with a concentration in North American consumer, financials, healthcare, and industrial sectors. The investment philosophy centers on identifying high-quality businesses with strong earnings growth trading at attractive valuations.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced investor relations or capital raising professional with a strong understanding of public equities and an established network within the institutional and high-net-worth investor community.

Position Overview

The Head of Investor Relations will be responsible for developing and executing the firm’s fundraising strategy, cultivating relationships with current and prospective investors, and serving as a key external representative of the fund. This individual will partner closely with the Portfolio Manager and senior leadership team to communicate investment strategy, performance, and market outlook to investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all investor relations and capital raising initiatives for the firm
  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, consultants, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Identify, source, and pursue new fundraising opportunities
  • Coordinate and lead investor meetings, presentations, due diligence sessions, and ongoing communications
  • Partner with investment leadership to articulate the firm’s investment philosophy, strategy, and portfolio positioning
  • Manage the investor pipeline and fundraising process from initial outreach through onboarding
  • Assist with preparation of marketing materials, pitch books, quarterly letters, and investor reporting
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings
  • Help build and enhance the overall investor relations infrastructure as the firm continues to scale

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFA/MBA is a plus
  • Prior experience in investor relations, institutional sales, capital raising, or business development within a hedge fund, asset management firm, private equity firm, or investment bank
  • Strong understanding of public equities and fundamental investing strategies is required
  • Experience raising capital for equity-focused investment strategies strongly preferred
  • Existing relationships within the institutional and/or high-net-worth investor community preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, credibility, and executive presence

Compensation

  • Base salary up to $200,000
  • Highly lucrative performance-based bonus structure tied directly to capital raised
