Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer is an advocate for exceptional design and creates solutions that translate complex concepts and multi-faceted marketing initiatives into simple, elegant, and practical customer experiences.

Driving design strategy and execution for all assigned company business, including UPCIC, Clovered, American Platinum, uConnect and Universal Insurance Holdings

Leading and sometimes supervising the creation of a range of touch points, including promotional and operational, across mediums (e.g., advertisements, print materials, presentations, informational graphics, user interfaces, and templates)

Producing concepts for high-profile campaigns, brands, and products, often requiring market research and investigation

Applying influencing and presentation skills to secure buy-in for design concepts

Following and enhancing brand standards

Building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, marketing team members, and vendors, acting as the subject matter expert for the design discipline

Collaborating with external agency partners, freelancers, and contractors, managing relationships and providing project guidance and brand governance

Managing multiple projects with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively

Consistently delivering fresh ideas for a variety of branding projects

Producing superior creative solutions that achieve company business objectives

Executing projects from initial concept through feedback, revisions, preparation of final art files, and vendor coordination

Assisting with other tasks and projects as assigned

Good illustration and data visualization skills, as well as strong typographic skills, understanding of type hierarchy and structure

5+ years of professional graphic design experience using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and InDesign

Video creating and editing experience is a plus
