We are looking for a talented School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year.

Hourly Rate Range: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavioral growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop effective academic and behavioral interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and IDEA regulations.
  • Provide consultation and training for staff on topics such as mental health, classroom behavior management, and social-emotional learning.
  • Support students in developing social skills, coping strategies, and self-regulation techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) School Psychologist License.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
  • Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
