Director of Nursing – Skilled Nursing Facility

Full-Time | Leadership Role | Skilled Nursing | Survey-Ready Focus

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations in a skilled nursing setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all clinical operations within the skilled nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations, including preparation for and response to surveys.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence.
• Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Analyze clinical performance data to drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing or acute care setting.
• At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience, including staff supervision and operational oversight.
• Experience with CMS/state/federal surveys and regulatory compliance is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in clinical data analysis and quality improvement are a plus.
