We're looking for an ambitious General Manager to lead the opening of our first fast-casual restaurant in New Hyde Park. This is a rare opportunity to build a team, establish a strong culture, and play a key role in launching a brand-new location.

What You'll Do

Restaurant Leadership

  • Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team from the ground up.
  • Create a positive, accountable culture focused on teamwork, hospitality, and operational excellence.
  • Coach and develop Assistant Managers and Shift Leaders to build future leadership.

New Store Opening

  • Partner with company leadership during all phases of the restaurant opening.
  • Participate in the restaurant's opening plan, staffing, training, and operational setup.
  • Ensure all systems, procedures, and brand standards are successfully implemented before opening.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Own the restaurant's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.
  • Manage labor, food cost, inventory, scheduling, and controllable expenses.
  • Drive sales growth while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve business goals.

Community & Local Marketing

  • Build relationships within the local community to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Execute grassroots marketing, local store marketing, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Support grand opening events and ongoing promotional activities.

Team Development

  • Inspire and develop a strong leadership team through coaching and mentorship.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and career development.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of General Manager experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant.
  • Proven experience managing a single restaurant with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing teams.
  • Experience driving sales, managing labor, inventory, and operational performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Currently reside on Long Island or be willing to relocate.
  • Strong local marketing and community engagement skills.
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Training

The selected candidate will participate in approximately six weeks of comprehensive training prior to the restaurant opening. Training will take place in the Washington, D.C. area and is designed to provide the tools and support needed for a successful launch.
