Pharmacy Technician – Details & Compensation
Location: Warwick, RI (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $24.45 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 40+ hours per week
Shifts Include:
- Two weekday evening shifts: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Two weekday day shifts: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- One weekend morning shift
- Evening-only schedules available for candidates who prefer nights

Pharmacy Technician – Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations. This includes prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, data entry, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented technician seeking stability, growth, and long-term opportunity.
Pharmacy Technician – Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under pharmacist supervision
- Accurately enter prescription and billing data into pharmacy systems
- Prepackage medications according to established standards and regulations
- Assist with final prescription verification and medication packaging
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications
- Maintain inventory by receiving, rotating, and tracking medications and supplies
- Support a clean and safe pharmacy environment, including equipment checks and calibration
Pharmacy Technician – Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Active Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- Ability to work onsite in Warwick, RI
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
- Mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
