The School of Imagination is a premier inclusive early childhood program serving neurodiverse learners through integrated education and multidisciplinary intervention.
We are seeking an Early Intervention & Social Skills Special Education Teacher to support toddlers and preschool-aged children across two dynamic, inclusive learning environments.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role in Dublin, CA.
About the RoleMorning: Early Intervention (Ages 18 Months–3 Years)

Lead a developmentally appropriate early intervention classroom

Conduct developmental assessments (e.g., DAYC-2)

Develop and track individualized developmental goals

Write comprehensive progress reports

Coach caregivers to support skill generalization

Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, BCBAs, and classroom staff
Afternoon: Inclusive Social Skills Programming (Ages 4–6 Years)

Lead small-group social skills instruction

Design curriculum supporting communication, regulation, and peer interaction
-
Adapt instruction for diverse learners within a group setting

Monitor progress and maintain consistent family communication
Leadership Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor Associate and Assistant Educators
-
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
-
Support onboarding and ongoing professional development
-
Ensure compliance with State Licensing, safety, and health standards

Facilitate team meetings and support operational excellence
QualificationsRequired
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development or Special Education (required)

Minimum 12 ECE units
-
Minimum 2 years of independent classroom leadership experience in an inclusive, early intervention, or special education setting

Experience conducting developmental assessments and writing progress reports

Strong understanding of child development and best practices for supporting diverse learning needs

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred

Master’s Degree

California Special Education credential
Must pass TB test, criminal background check, and maintain current First Aid and CPR certification.
