In collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor, this role primarily involves the responsibilities of a Registered Nurse, focusing on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will coordinate patient services alongside various departments, ensuring efficient organization and execution within your designated specialty area. Timely management of workflow, including room preparation and necessary supplies before procedures, is essential. Additionally, you may serve in a staff capacity as needed, providing coverage during breaks and lunches, and assisting with operational support tasks. You will also play a role in orienting new colleagues and permanent team members alongside the Supervisor and the Operating Room Nurse Clinician.

Overview:
Our Center for Performance Medicine provides cutting-edge outpatient surgical care. With 10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms, and 1 cystoscopy suite, it stands as one of the largest surgical centers in the nation, equipped with the latest technology.
We specialize in various surgical fields, including orthopedics, urology, plastics, neurosurgery, and general surgery. The facility also features a dedicated pre/post-operative area, a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), a 23-hour stay area, and a supply chain department.
Our caregivers enjoy the benefit of no weekend shifts, no holiday work, and no on-call duties.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an Operating Room as a Registered Nurse
- Required Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution
- Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- License: Valid RN license in the state
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
