Position Overview:

  • Locations: Seattle, WA
  • Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (No nights, no weekends!)
  • Pay: $2800/week,
  • 40 hours/week guaranteed

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform echocardiographic exams for adult veteran patients
  • Stress Echo, Cardiology, etc (No Vascular)
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnosis and treatment
  • Maintain sonographic equipment and accurate reporting
  • Represent the VA’s standard of excellence with every scan

What We Require:

  • ARDMS Certification in Echocardiography (Required – no exceptions)
  • BLS & ACLS (AHA)
  • Compassion, professionalism, and clinical precision

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including cardiac assessments and evaluations related to emergency medicine.
  • Utilize appropriate sonography techniques and equipment to obtain accurate images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Monitor and record vital signs during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent infection.
  • Document findings accurately in patient records and communicate results effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Assist in the training of new staff or students in sonography practices as needed.
  • Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to provide the highest quality care.
