About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team at a closed-door long-
term care pharmacy in Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing
prescriptions, verifying medication orders, and ensuring the safe and timely dispensing of
medications to residents in long-term care facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who values accuracy, efficiency, and
working in a supportive, non-retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
 Verify prescriptions and medication orders for accuracy and safety
 Dispense and check medications prior to delivery to long-term care facilities
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records
 Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff
 Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
 Collaborate with facility staff and healthcare providers
 Participate in quality assurance processes and inventory control
Qualifications:
Required:
 Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Arizona
 In good standing with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy
 Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
 Comfortable working in a closed-door pharmacy setting
Preferred:
 Experience in long-term care or institutional pharmacy
 Familiarity with pharmacy systems like FrameworkLTC, QS/1, or DocuTrack
Skills:
 High attention to detail
 Excellent communication and organizational skills
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively
 Strong knowledge of drug interactions, dosing, and compliance standards
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
