Summary
Independently perform routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, stability samples and product development samples; under minimum supervision, perform method validation, write / review simply to moderate test methods; review method validation protocols and validation reports.
Full time position, Monday to Thursday, 4/10s schedule, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM with possible overtime and weekends on occasion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Summarize data into reports and certificates of analysis.
· Provide support to Operations, Engineering and Quality groups.
· Perform basic maintenance on the lab cleanroom and ICP-MS instrument.
· Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses.
· Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses, using chemical separation techniques.
· Provide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, or teams and by conducting laboratory or plant safety audits.
· Prepare chemical solutions for products or processes, following standardized formulas, or create experimental formulas.
· Maintain, clean laboratory instruments or equipment.
· Provide general laboratory support; such as routine instrument cleaning/preventative maintenance/calibration, sample receiving, chemical inventory, document filing and housekeeping.
· Maintain the ICP-MS lab a GMP and safe working environment.
· Cleans laboratory working surfaces and dispose of any excess chemicals, solutions, solvents, etc. in the special waste containers for each class of waste chemicals.
· Performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· 1-2 years of experience with running an ICP-MS, preferably in a semiconductor operation.
· Statistical background or familiarity with SPC helpful.
· Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
· Knowledge of analytical wet Chemistry methods, in particular ICP-MS preferred.
· Must speak, read, write and understand English

While performing the duties of this job, an Analytical Laboratory Tech will:
· The work environment is representative of a group laboratory environment.
· Use of respirator, lab coat and safety glasses is required. Ability to work with potent substances using a glove-box.
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
· Employee is subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear or smell; looking at monitor, moderate noise levels.
· Work is performed in an ICP-MS laboratory with risk of exposure to various chemicals.
· If additional PPE is required, it will be provided by Silicon Resourcing Solutions, LLC.
